Safely in Jerusalem

We’re in Jerusalem, and we’re safe. We haven’t seen any signs yet of the current crisis except smoke that we presume is from a protest at a refugee camp a few miles away.

But we’re safely with Jenny’s Aunt and Uncle. They picked us up at the airport and brought us to their house between Mt. Scopus and the Mt of Olives, overlooking the old city:

Yes, that’s literally the view from the driveway (we’ll have higher quality pictures later).
