NASA, Nassau, and Baseball
We got back a few days ago from a Spring Break trip to Florida. We had a really good time with the boys and Oma (Jenny’s mom) as we took a short cruise to the Bahamas, caught a Cardinals Spring … Continue reading

After the ceremony for Stan, I said to Douglas “You’ve been really lucky – you’ve gotten to see Hank Aaron, Reggie Jackson, Yogi Berra, and Stan Musial, and you don’t even know who they are.”

Douglas Edwin, One Year Old, How do you like the world so far?
Happy Birthday to our beautiful son! It’s amazing that it was just a year ago that we were in the hospital meeting the new guy and nervously preparing for him to undergo major open-heart surgery to correct his TGV. Now, … Continue reading
A Metcalf Family Weekend
We had a very busy Memorial Day weekend, travelling to Montana to see the immediate family we know well, to introduce Douglas to cousins, aunts, and great-grandmothers he hadn’t yet met, and to remember my beloved grandpa and uncle.
